‘ALL ABOUT THE EYES’ is all about the signature color of this collection, a beautiful, icy turquoise blue, and what that blue does opposite other colors and textures. Metallic gold for instance! Here we bounce our beautiful blue against the sheen of gold leather accessories and explore a narrow silhouette for all it’s worth. X marks the spot with a criss-cross halter-top, tightly belted in gold over a column of tiny fabric-covered buttons down the front of the narrow skirt. Gene’s vivid titian coif is side-parted and accented with dangling, gold chain earrings that echo the golden gloves and shoes completing this ensemble. . A striking sun visor is the welcome shade for the famous blue eyes that this outfit is ALL ABOUT. Historical footnote: This dress was one of the very first designs selected for Gene at her inception in 1991.
