“DeLuxe” is precisely the perfect word for the extreme lines of this gown, a long, lean sheath of eggplant silk.  The waist is defined by an enormous pink silk bow, lavishly beaded and cinched above a two-tiered, flounced and slanted overskirt.  Magenta runs riot throughout the accessories in the form of meticulously tailored satin evening gloves, ruched and buttoned above the elbows, and a matching, perfect satin evening bag.

The jewelry consists of a thick cord of magenta and mauve beads, knotted and twisted into a necklace and matching single bead earrings.  Gene®’s shoes defy expectations with pink satin covered heels and lining, eggplant silk-covered insteps and (again two-tiered) leather ankle straps with silver buckles.  Look up ‘deluxe’ in the dictionary ladies, this is the picture you’ll see.
