The bodies will be arriving in the US to ship to you in late July or early August. You must pay for the bodies now, and they will be shipped to as soon as they arrive.
Future productions may be considered based on the response to the program, but are not currently contemplated. The offer is currently contemplated as a one-time offer, and while that could change, there are currently no plans to offer the bodies again once this offer is finished. We want you to have the best currently available information.
** If you want to order more than two bodies, place one or two items in your cart on the first page. Then press Add to Cart. On the next page you can change the box to say however many bodies you want (if you want 10, change the box to 10), then on the lower left press Update. Once the total updates, press checkout on the lower right to continue with your purchase.**
The link for the bodies is below. While you are visiting the shopping cart, why not pick up a Gene Rouge doll, which is on sale (20% discount applied at checkout!) or an Eve Kitten doll or one of our other super sale items?!

Doll Body Upgrade Program
There is an exciting Gene doll body upgrade program right around the corner! Based on Club member and other customer suggestions, we will be producing headless articulated Gene bodies to meet the needs of our valued customers. They will be available for sale to Club members and other Gene fans alike through our shopping cart system in mid- to late- summer. These bodies will come with instructions on how to remove the heads of any of your older Gene dolls that you would like to “swap” onto a new body. The bodies will retail for US$34.99 each (plus any taxes, shipping or handling) and purchases will be limited. The bodies will all be in the pale/regular skin tone for use with Gene and Madra dolls.
In order to maintain the Integrity of the line (pun intended), the replacement bodies will be marked with the Gene Deluxe “G” logo on the buttocks. This will allow collectors to ensure that the bodies are authorized and authentic Gene Deluxe bodies, while also separating them from the ones produced with the dolls, thus allowing future generations of collectors to distinguish whether a body has been replaced or is factory original.
We will post more information here on the official Gene Marshall website when it is available.

Changes in our dealer database
Below please find several updates regarding our Official Dealers.
Magma Heritage: Due to some exciting future projects being planned by the management of Magma Heritage, they will not be carrying any of the 2007 Integrity Toys/JWU LLC collectible lines, including Fashion Royalty® and Gene®. While we are sad that such a wonderful supporter of our lines will not be part of the Integrity family this year, we are excited for Magma Heritage’s upcoming opportunities and wish them much success!
Gigi’s Dolls and Sherry’s Teddy Bears: We are pleased to announce that Gigi’s Dolls & Sherry’s Teddy Bears, an Official Gene® dealer, will now be an official Fashion Royalty® dealer. Based in Chicago, Gigi’s has a rich history in serving doll collectors, and we couldn’t be more delighted to add them to our Fashion Royalty roster! Contact information for Gigi’s Dolls & Sherry’s Teddy Bears is below.

FAO Schwarz: Due to some overzealous press coverage and feedback from their customer base, going forward FAO Schwarz will not be carrying dolls wearing lingerie. This means that the 2007 Basic Fashion Royalty® dolls will not be available through FAO Schwarz. We will be allocating their quantities to our other dealers, so if you shop with FAO, please note that you will have to contact another official dealer to purchase those dolls.
Should you have any questions regarding the dealers above, any of our other official dealers, or our product in general, please feel free to contact customer service.

February 2007, NYC Toy Fair Unveil
From the desk of Gene's creator, Mel Odom:
Dear Friends,
Welcome to the 2007 Gene Marshall collection. I’m very proud of the dolls and dresses we’ve assembled for this year and feel sure there’s something for everyone in this fashion show. At your suggestions, we’ve changed some things. Starting this year, with “Calendar Shot,” the packaging will be different, with an easier to maneuver lift-off lid. Our “Rouge” doll will be the very last girl to arrive in the original flip-top box. The stands (including “Rouge’s”) have been corrected, too. They are a tiny bit shorter, which makes it a lot easier for everyone to pose their dolls.
This season for her “Calendar Shot,” Gene gets her first suntan: a deep golden tan that brings to mind everyone from Hedy Lamarr in “White Cargo” to Gene Tierney in “Son of Fury.” Gene looks GORGEOUS with a studio makeup department suntan, wearing an inspired little gingham playsuit and black crocheted snood with her first pair of wedgies. This is such a different ‘take’ on Gene that I’m already thinking of designing new things to go with her.
(scroll to continue)
Another shocking change for Gene! Through the aid of ‘contact lenses’, Gene gets “Green Eyes” in a suite of dolls designed for a Technicolor drama of the same name, and the feud between Gene and green-eyed Madra Lord is launched into a new decade. The “Green Eyes” doll is Gene in the loveliest of evening gowns, a silver blue confection, with translucent sequins and an amazing multi-colored tulle skirt. Her green eyes couldn’t look dreamier in this gown. In the same group is “Cocoa Crisp,” the smartest little brown suit you ever saw, with accessories to die for, on a red-haired, green-eyed Gene. The wonderful embroidered balloon cuffs on this suit are one of my favorite fashion details for this year. I know it sounds strange, but you might want to have a little “Sambuca” with your “Cocoa Crisp” this year. “Sambuca” is the loveliest of black lace dresses from the movie “Green Eyes.” This is ‘the little black dress’ taken to a whole new level of style with a multi-ruffled black lace skirt, great jewelry and perfect, black, satin pumps. “Bright Day” is the daytime dress from “Green Eyes,” a lovely little satin print ‘breeze of a dress’ over a ribbon-trimmed petticoat. The white and pink pumps, matching handbag, and ribbon-trimmed white straw hat make “Bright Day” one of my favorite 1950’s looks. Both “Sambuca” and “Bright Day” are sold as costumes.
OK, guys, get ready: Madra’s back – and back with a vengeance! Starring in “Rich Girl,” Madra Lord burns up the silver screen as the doomed socialite Eden Vickers. The “Rich Girl” doll is in a severely draped black crepe dress under a ‘silver fox’ jacket. This is an iconic day look from the late 1930’s that I’ve wanted to do for years. The second doll from “Rich Girl” is “Careless Kisses”, a sumptuous evening gown of spangled cream satin and pleated tulle. This is an unusual dress, with a sequined bust line and an ‘apron’ of cream satin over a matching tulle skirt. The shoes and accessories for this dress are…(a-hem)…to die for. The pale tones of this dress and the silver and black of “Rich Girl” imply a black and white movie’s wardrobe.
More than ever before, we’re focusing our collection on the film careers of our stars. This year’s inspirations are all taken from their movies, with suites of dolls and costumes coming from those movies. Our “Reel Life” collection begins this year with our first gift set “Star Entrance.” This set will be the complete wardrobe worn by Gene in a specific scene of her movie “Executive Sweet.” This allows us to create a more complete ‘look’ than a single doll would allow. Other costumes and dolls from “Executive Sweet” are included in the line with almost an entire film’s wardrobe ultimately being created.
Our most lavish doll to date is Madra Lord as “The Jeweled Cat.” This doll will be the first doll in the 24K Collection. Each year one doll will be selected to be in this collection and receive a level of attention to detail and luxury not possible in the general line. The elaborate beading of the gold gown in “The Jeweled Cat” made it the likely candidate for this year’s 24K club. She will be packaged in a distinctive gold box and be limited worldwide to 500 pieces – no more, no less. “The Jeweled Cat” leads the way for the enhanced level of fabric and workmanship shown in all of this year’s collection.
Our photos this year are of a new clarity that collectors requested. The beautiful images reflect the ‘Technicolor’ dreams of Hollywood’s most florid fantasies and simultaneously show the ‘product’ in clarion detail. These photos will soon be incorporated into the official newly updated Gene website and will show up in full color advertising in major doll magazines.
We’re very proud of this year’s collection and feel the collectors will innately understand the commitment we’ve made to quality and to reinstating Gene Marshall and Madra Lord as the leaders in the fashion doll world.
Yours truly,
mel
January 7th, 2007
Dear Friends,
Well, I’m taking down my Christmas tree, and rather than get sentimental about it, I thought I’d share some great news with you about 2007 and the exciting things we have in store for you and Gene.
Our first year with the new Gene or “Gene DeLuxe” as we’ve called her, has been a remarkable one, capped with Gene’s returning to FAO Schwarz, lower production numbers and higher quality. In other words, Gene is once again a truly collectable doll. But we’ve just started, and 2007 promises to be even better.
After many years, Gene finally has an official collectors club, yours with the Gene Gold membership of the W Club. Membership will entitle you to Gene newsletters, special dolls and club liaisons to provide VIP customer service. Also, after five years of Sandra Stillwell's inspired conventions, Gene will be showcased in an entirely new type of event, completely organized in-house for the very first time. In an effort to keep things new and fresh, this re-vamped version of the convention will offer a new, lower price structure, an exciting new theme and a revised and re-imagined collection of souvenirs. This “first” of an event is definitely one to look forward to and to be excited about.
The excitement begins much earlier, however, with a fabulous launch gala to un-veil the 2007 Gene collection. This event for the Gene Marshall line will be coordinated exclusively through the W Club (all W Club members will be invited). Don’t forget, the Gene Gold membership within the W Club is your best way to stay on top of the scoop with our Girl Star as well as hear about other fabulous dolls by Integrity and JWU. It’s sort of like Joan Crawford’s fan club within MGM. So if you want to join the fun--and who doesn’t!--make sure to sign up before January 19, because after that memberships will be closed until 2008.
So Happy New Year to you all, and thank you for being friends to Gene and me through all the exciting changes both behind and before us. I find in doll collecting, as in life, it’s much more fun if you share it with friends. Thank you for sharing so beautifully.
